Jenny grew up on a small family farm in East Troy, Wisconsin before moving to Madison to pursue degrees in Community & Environmental Sociology, Environmental Studies, and Food Systems. During her undergraduate career, she worked for two years as the Farm Director for the UW-Madison student farm organization, The People’s Farm. Prior to starting at Allen Centennial, Jenny worked as an artist for the 2025 “Secrets of the Canopy” Orchid Escape Exhibit at Olbrich Botanical Gardens. She is passionate about gardening and art, and how the two can work in tandem to immerse and connect people to nature. Jenny is excited to work with community collaborators and artists in the Allen Centennial garden spaces.
